If you are attending a service in the West Chapel, 25 mourners are allowed at a time in the chapel with 25 people outside, or in the South Chapel, 50 mourners are allowed at a time with no overflow outside the chapel.

Members of immediate families who reside together can be seated and stand together; whist others should maintain social distancing precautions at all times.

Funeral Gatherings

As at the 1st June 2020, if you are attending a burial, grave side or ash placement service, 50 mourners are allowed in the surrounding area. These restrictions must be strictly adhered to with social distancing still maintained.

Live Streaming

During this difficult period, Live Streaming can be added to your funeral service at no charge.

Services & Funerals Register

Funeral Directors will be required to keep a register of those who attend services and funerals. The register may be required in the event that an infection occurs and tracking activity be undertaken by the Department of Health. SMCNSW will request to view this register prior to the service or burial commencing.
