Pond of Tranquility
The sand-coloured columns and trellised walk set the scene for a gracious ambiance at the Pond of Tranquility. Simple and tasteful, this garden gives you the chance to hear water speak when words fail.
At its centre lies a large, circular pool and fountain, where light and droplets play. A magnificent iron latticework dome echoes the circular theme, with vivid garden beds rippling in a concentric circle round the whole.
The Pond of Tranquility is an inviting place to select a memorial of deep significance to you.
Surrounding the pool, small recesses, called Reflection Rooms, provide Private Family Memorials, with seating to rest and take in the peaceful vista.
You may wish to choose a position around the rim of the Pond itself, or a shady spot in the Circle of Love Garden, underneath one of the many lofty trees that stand proudly on the well-groomed lawns beyond the Pond.
